In early May 2022, Ealing Community Network became a Community Interest Company meaning it is no longer a project of an existing Ealing Charity.
As a new independent organisation and in line with the Articles of Association and Appendices, all of the current ECN Executive Board (elected or co-opted) must step down at the first AGM and stand for re-election or retire permanently.
ECN CIC is now recruiting for a total of 15 Executive Board members made up of:
- Chair (will also need to be a Director of ECN CIC)
- 2 x Vice Chairs
- 12 x Executive Board Reps
Please note that these are voluntary roles
ECN CIC is made up of three Directors who manage the business activities of the company. The ECN Executive Board (15 sector leaders) represent the voice of the sector, strategically and locally, across a range of diverse issues which include (but not limited to):
· Inequality
· Disabilities · Children, Young People and Families |
· Community Development
· Health and Wellbeing · Advice Services |
· Adult Services
· Employment and Learning · Community Wealth |
· Environment
· Strategy and Engagement · Housing |
ECN is looking for people with local knowledge, experience and a passion for promoting the voice of the voluntary sector locally and strategically. To drive, influence and impact the social value of the Ealing voluntary sector. People who can ensure the VCS voice is heard at strategic and local level and ensure the involvement of the Ealing VCS at all levels, influencing change.
