Census takes place on 21st March 2021. All households will receive a census letter and must complete the census. Huge funding decisions at national and local level are made on the basis of census data. So it’s vital that everyone in our community is counted to get the services they need such as healthcare, education, transport and housing.
This workshop is designed for Ealing borough community groups, volunteers and support workers to understand the detail of what people need to do to complete the census questionnaire.
- You will see the questionnaire
- You will get details on the support that can be accessed from the national contact centre e.g. telephone completion, language and accessibility support.
- You will understand how the data is kept safe by law and that it remains anonymous meaning that no individual’s data can be shared
- Plenty of time will be made available for questions
This workshop will be run by Jane Ward and John Usher, who work for the Office for National Statistics and are the Census Engagement Managers for Ealing, working in partnership with Ealing Council across the whole borough.
